We are looking for a hands-on GCP Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to manage, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates who actively work on GCP services, GKE, IAM, networking, and cloud automation, and want to deepen their expertise in the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Google  CloudPlatform (GCP)

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure, including:
  
  • Compute Engine (VMs)
    
  • VPCs, Subnets, Firewall Rules
    
  • Cloud Load Balancing
    
• Manage and optimize GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters.
  
• Implement IAM roles, service accounts, and security policies.
  
• Monitor cloud resources using Cloud Monitoring & Logging.
  
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, and availability.
  

Cloud Security & Reliability

• Implement security best practices across GCP.
  
• Manage backups, snapshots, and disaster recovery strategies for GCP workloads.
  
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and data integrity.
  
• Handle incident response and root cause analysis.
  

DevOps & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab / Jenkins).
  
• Automate cloud provisioning using scripts or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  
• Work closely with development teams for smooth cloud deployments.
  

System & Network Administration (Secondary Focus)

• Manage Linux/Windows servers (on-prem & cloud).
  
• Configure networking components like routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
  
• Provide L2/L3 support for system and cloud-related issues.
  

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain architecture diagrams and cloud documentation.
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams.
  
• Stay updated with new GCP services and recommend improvements.
  

Mandatory Skills 

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  
• Strong experience with:
  
  • GKE (Kubernetes)
    
  • GCP IAM
    
  • VPC, Subnets, Firewall Rules
    
  • Compute Engine
    
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines
  -Linux system administration
  -Cloud monitoring & troubleshooting

GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud Architect)

Terraform or Infrastructure as Code

Docker & Kubernetes certifications
