As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our organization’s Linux-based systems. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong interest in Linux administration and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment. The System Administrator will work closely with the IT team to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our Linux infrastructure.

Skills & Responsibilities
– Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems.
– Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
– Identify and resolve hardware and software issues on Linux servers.
– Respond to system alerts and troubleshoot system-related problems.
– Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems.
– Monitor system logs for security incidents and take appropriate action.
– Provide technical support to end-users on Linux-related issues.
– Assist in user account management and access control.
– Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
– Conduct performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
– Create and update system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
– Keep an inventory of hardware and software components.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
– Knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
– Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
