Part of the Ashva module inventory — a multi-tenant tote and fixed-odds betting platform we built and operate. The engineering practice behind it is our platform build and integration service line.
Ask an operator what its current exposure is and the answer often depends on which report someone opens. Trading has a screen, finance has an overnight extract, and the two do not agree until the following morning.
This module holds one position and serves it live.
One set of figures, at every level
The consolidated platform position, each tenant’s position, and the exposure on a single market or a single customer are the same figures at different levels of aggregation. Drilling down narrows the scope; it does not switch to a differently-derived number. That property is what makes the board usable during a race rather than only in a review.
What a tenant sees, and what the platform holder sees
A tenant sees its own money in, liability and net position. The platform holder sees the aggregate. The aggregate is not a courtesy view: exposure concentrated on one selection arriving through several brands is invisible in any single tenant’s report, and it is the position most likely to hurt.
Alerts instead of vigilance
Thresholds on exposure and position raise alerts to a trader or to the 24×7 Operations Desk. Expecting a person to notice a number crossing a line on a dashboard at three in the morning is not a control.
It has to reconcile
The live board is an operational view and it reconciles to the ledger at day end. Breaks are reported with the underlying transactions attached. A real-time board that never gets reconciled becomes a number people quote and nobody trusts.
What this module does not do
It does not enforce limits or accept bets. Enforcement is in the risk module. This module makes the position visible and raises the alert.
