React JS Developer — Ahmedabad | Protocolzone

React front-end role in Ahmedabad, 3-5 years experience. Build reusable UI components against API and stream-based backends on real-time datasets.

We are looking for a creative thinker to join a small, highly skilled team at Protocolzone serving international clients who think big about data. We specialise in building high-performance technologies to manage, analyse and process real-time and historical datasets. Our products and client requirements are expanding, and we are inviting candidates who want to work with modern, complex technologies.

  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Work schedule: 5 days a week
  • Location: Ahmedabad
  • Notice period: immediate joiners preferred, maximum 30 days

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship cross-platform browser features.
  • Build reusable UI components, keeping the UI code base scalable and maintainable.
  • Integrate with API and stream-based backends.
  • Build responsive, device-friendly pages, layouts and components.

Mandatory requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of React development experience in an Agile environment, building web applications against web service APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and related web technologies such as Sass, RecoilJS and Ant Design.
  • Experience writing functional tests using web testing frameworks.
  • Solid Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and systems architecture.
  • Clear understanding of server-side rendered apps; experience with a framework such as Next.js.
  • Strong debugging skills and proficiency with the tooling used to build modern web apps.
  • Knowledge of functional and object-oriented JavaScript/ES6.
  • Expertise with JavaScript state management libraries such as Redux, MobX or Recoil.
  • Experience with development and debugging tools for cross-browser issues.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

An asset

  • Other JavaScript frameworks and tools, such as Angular, Firebase or Tailwind CSS.
  • Knowledge of React Native.
